GOAL

The Polish Society of Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis (PTKAT) is an association for researchers who are interested in calorimetry, thermal analysis and their applications.

The goals and work of PTKAT

The main goals of the society are as follows:

  1. The dissemination of information concerning current achievements in calorimetry and thermal analysis
  2. To provide a forum for discussion of advances made in these areas
  3. To increase awareness and interest in the development of thermochemistry, calorimetry and thermal analysis, and their applications in different fields.

PTKAT accomplishes its goals by:

  1. Organising conferences, symposia, scientific meetings, seminars, scientific competitions and courses;
  2. Publishing material such as work instructions and abstracts from conference presentations
  3. Cooperating and works with other foreign and national scientific societies who have similar or the same goals
